"Saint of The Pit" is the second part of the plague mass "Masque of the Red Death". The first part, "The Divine Punishment," was released on June 23 1986 & premiered at the ARS Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria, on June 23 1986.

"Saint of The Pit" was composed & performed by Diamanda Galás. Produced by Gareth Jones & Diamanda Galás.

"ξελόυμε", Artémis" & "Cris D'Aveugle" are dedicated to Philip-Dimitri Galás (1954-1986)

"L'Heautontimioroumenos," "Εξελόυμε," & "Artémis" were recorded at Hansa Tonstudio, Berlin. La Terizième Revient was recorded at Hansa; synthesizer overdubs recorded by Paul Kendall at Worldwide Studios, London.
